Latest update: 09 March 2021
While Coronavirus restrictions are in force all of our open air fund raising activities, monthly meetings and socials are suspended. Once government restrictions have been lifted, we hope to resume these activities.
We are still able to accept donations online.
Help Us Raise Money
We are still raising funds to support our community and the projects that depend on us. If you wish to donate to the Lions, so that we can continue to support others, then please do make a donation securely using the button below.
In order to give money, we need to raise it. Donations from nice people just like you are relied upon to make what we do possible.
You can donate money at events, send a cheque to our club secretary or donate money online via Virgin Money Giving.
If you’re kind enough to make a donation – then know that we are a ‘not for profit’ organisation and we promise to make every penny work as hard as possible.
The HHLC Bookstall has found a new home online at www.hhlionsbooks.co.uk
HHLC have always offered an array of second-hand books in exchange for a donation of £1 per book.
Pre-lockdown our bookstall was a regular fixture of the Orchards Shopping Centre in Haywards Heath. We’ve moved the operation online so that we can continue to offer you books safely and securely throughout lockdown.
Other Ways To Support Us
Become A Member
It’s the members of Hayward Heath Lions Club that make everything we do possible. If you want to help us, one of the best things you can do is become a member yourself.
Members of Haywards Heath Lions club do pay a small monthly fee towards the running of our club. In exchange members get to attend our club meetings, club socials and will get to take on critical roles at the charity events we set up and help to run.
Volunteering is a much lower commitment and there’s no membership fee.
Being a volunteer is the perfect role for somebody who likes what we do, but isn’t able to commit a lot of their own personal time each month towards helping us run the Haywards Heath Lions Club .
We occasionally ask volunteers to help us out when there aren’t enough club members to fully staff an event.
