Haywards Heath Lions Club support a number of key projects and charity initiatives that help people in need from across Mid Sussex and also the wider UK.

Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance
The KSSAA is a service that saves lives – but it needs permanent funding in order to remain operable. New equipment to replace out of date equipment is a constant requirement.

ROAR - Inspiring Local Children
ROAR is A UK-wide competition for primary schools encouraging children to develop an idea that will change the world.
It has been designed to inspire local children and help them to develop several skills including teamworking, communication and presenting, as well as promoting the Lions Club in the local community.

Smart Ideas | Message In A Bottle
Our MIAB scheme makes it easy for the Emergency Services to locate a vulnerable persons medical information.
Low cost & highly effective, this scheme has helped to save lives in the UK.

National Diabetes Education Program
Type 2 diabetes is a leading cause of preventable sight loss in people of working age and is a major contributor to kidney failure, heart attack, and stroke.
All Lions clubs are heavily involved in promoting awareness and helping people to test for Diabetes.

Deaf Aid
Hayward Heath Lions Club are now collecting used hearing equipment.
Your donations are then refurbished and ultimately gifted to deaf people who would not otherwise have access to this essential equipment.

Got an old pair of prescription glasses? Both the lenses & the frames can be redistributed to people in need around the world.
Find out how you can donate a pair of glasses (in any condition) at your local Lions Eyeglass Recycling Centre in Haywards Heath.
LIBRA | A Blood Cancer Charity
The Lions International Blood Research Appeal (LIBRA) raises funds exclusively for the Haematology Department at King’s College Hospital in London. Their work benefits patients with blood cancers & disorders.
